How to Edit Photos Using Lightroom Mobile 1. You will notice that the preset looks different on all photos and that’s okay! But the easiest part here is that you only need to adjust the Exposure & White Balance for each photo to achieve a cohesive look between all photos. To create a preset, go to the Presets Tab on the left, click the + sign and select “Create Preset.” Afterwards, apply the preset to all your photos. And that’s the look! This is a creative step so it depends on the look you’re going for your photos but this is how I like to edit mine to make sure the skin isn’t too orange and that the trees aren’t too yellow and the blue isn’t too saturated. And if the skin looks too green, I increase the Tint to make it a little magenta and vice versa. But a general rule I follow is if the skin looks too cool, I increase the Temp to make it warmer and vice versa. Since no photo is the same (again), I make these adjustments per photo. Adjust the White Balance settings to skin tone I like to create a slight S-curve to create contrast in my photos and to also add a fade effect where the blacks aren’t too dark and the highlights aren’t too white. But I decrease the saturation a little bit to take the edge off because it’s a little too saturated. These are the settings I use to make colors in my photo look deeper & richer. I also include the numbers that I used in the tutorial. Typically, this is what I decrease & increase in the settings. Since no photo is the same, I go over these adjustments one by one. This creates the base for the orange & teal hue which is a classic look that makes the shadows cooler and the highlights warmer.
